Kenneth's clients only wanted to fish for 4 hours this morning and that doesn't leave much time to try different spots should the bite be tough. Well, the bite was tough and they ended up with 3 keeper walleye and a couple perch. Don't know if it's because of the full moon, the extra boat traffic from the FLW, lot's of alewives in the bay (very strange at this time of year), or a combination of all those things. Try again tomorow...
Yesterday was a little bit better, but not great by any means. We landed 5 keeper walleyes before our 4 hrs. was up. Marked plenty of fish, but also marked lots of schools of baitfish. Saw some alewives jumping out of the water being chased a few days ago, so maybe that's leading to a tougher bite. The fish we caught were nice fat fish, so they are eating very well. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
