Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

Kenneth and his clients Patrick and Jeff (lowly Bear's fans) spent most of the day yesterday fishing for smallmouth bass and caught some nice ones. The one smallmouth is so huge it looks just like a carp!!! Unfortunately, Kenneth forgot to turn the video camera on at the start of the day so most of the fish didn't get taped! They also fished for walleye for a little bit and caught a couple eaters plus a few really nice perch up to 14 inches. I think Patrick is putting the 14 incher on the wall. They only took one picture out on the boat too (need to talk to Kenneth about that!!!). Don't know what they are fishing for today. Too sunny for pike today, so probably either bass or walleye again. Earlier today a friend of mine stopped by and said the salmon fishing off Fairport has been on fire, but hardly anyone is out there fishing. What's up with that??? Just wanted to pass that on in case anyone needs more salmon. Better get out there folks, summer is winding down quick!!!
