Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

I set out for perch out of Garden this morning and had really bad luck. I did catch perch every where I stopped but my oh my were they small. I ended up at Nahma in front of the burner. I was fishing with perch rigs tipped wit minnows and started catching bass. So I just kept drifting and doing well with the perch rigs. With the small hooks on the rigs I lost a bunch of them every time they jumped out of the water. I did land quit a few and I kept a 15 incher and two 19 inchers. So give the perch rigs a try for smallmouths next time out. Most every time I had a smallie on, any wheres from one to half a dozen others would follow it to the boat.
