Came up late Tuesday night to avoid the storm. Glad we did. We had 5 people come up (pulaski boys). First outing of the year for three people. We ended up with 12 eyes, 2 northern, and 5 perch through Saturday. First year ever without walleye on tip-up. #7 green glow tiger worked the best. Thanks Kevin for having them in room when we got there! Fish marking was terrible... We fish near center reef. Two of us went out on Sunday morning. We had best action with 3 keepers and one perch. We released one 27 inch keeper. We can't mark many fish this year. Also concerned about lack of 12 inchers being caught. With all this being said I will be done licking my wounds on Friday and will be hitting the water again on Saturday.

Fished Friday/Sat with son. Friday AM skunked  and 3 between us in the PM at red can. All alone with closet angler 1/2 mile away. Sat AM decided the truck was better option than a snowmobile ride and got 0 at meat hole off gladstone along with 4 others around us. Returned to red can in PM with 2 more friends and got 2 between all of us. Lots of other portables in area. Sounds like some big fish came from Portage area but had 4 friends fishing there and only 4 fish between them there but they were much nicer size.
