Does anyone know if Kobasic has been keeping the shipping lane open? I know they came thru in January but have they laterly? Thanks

They were supposed to come through on the 30th, but I never heard if they actually did. I know a friend of mine was not able to see any fresh broken ice the next day. That might mean something, and it might not if the wind just covered the tracks as they went...

They did on the 30th. If they haven't since then it should be froze pretty solid. Just have to go see! Thanks.

The boat stayed very close to the lighthouse as it rounded the corner! Coal docks were not affected.
