I fished for some whitefish again today but again.....no whitefish.

I did hook up with a few burbots though. It wasn't as much fun

as hooking into whitefish but it ranks right up there. Them ugly

ole flat tails sure do put up a fight. I even managed to land a smallmouth.

For a minute I thought you were givin Tom a new nickname. LOL. Amazing how something that ugly can taste soooooooo good.
I often wonder, why the population of burbot is so much greater on BBDN vs. LBDN???

Slammer old buddy... I found out Burbot numbers are increasing. I guess the Lamprey's knocked their population way down too until we got them under control. So the fishing for Burbot should only get better!!!

If you don't mind me asking? Where in big bay  are you catching these. And how deep is the water your fishing for them .
