Slammer and I went fishing together today. Yup...We finally met.

We had a great time fishing together and plan on doing it again. We did

pretty good today and managed to land a few lawyers, a whitefish and several

 smallmouth bass. I won't tell you what my Can Am had to tow in today so I will let Slammer tell you. lol

Just ask him as he will be more than willing to tell you..............

Looks like another great day on the bay to me! Very nice catch guys. Wish I could have joined you guys!!! I just finished cleaning the 4 Burbot that my brother and his friends caught this morning. Both my brother Kenneth and I thought the fish might break lose today with the front moving in, but the Burbot bite was actually slower for them today than yesterday. Go figure! Then again maybe the bite did break lose as couple guests of ours did catch their limit of walleye today and limits have been far and few between this season. Just 6 more days left for walleye and pike then I will probably focus on getting some more Burbot and hoping to do some smelt fishing too.

noGonna  have to hang my head on the wall of shame for a while I guess.  OK, I'll fess up. Tom had to pull my portable shack 1/2 way home that was loaded to the hilt.  Problem was.............he made me carry the fish home and all that extra weight was even too much for the Arctic Cat 700 !!!   I'm just glad he didn't say anything about all the fish I lost or missed today!!! Tom was right about one thing though.............it was great finally meeting in person and gettin out on the ice togeather .  Gotta do it again!!!  Thanks again Tom!  Slammer!!!

But...................................The Can Am pulled the sleigh with ALL the extra weight just fine. lol
All in All we had a good time.
