Slammer and I went fishing lawyers today but it didn't go very well. I caught one right away and that was it.

I managed to lose 4 whithfish and caught a nice bass. ( the pic with the bass and pole) Slammer on the other hand

landed over a dozen dandy bass. His are the ones he's holding.

What a hoot spankin these smallmouths in deep water. Hard to believe how good the smallmouth bass fishery is here in our backyard. Largest one (my personal best) was 24.5 inches and over 6 lbs. . They were all dandies and fun as hell to catch. Was actually trying to catch Lawyers, but it sure beat staring down a empty hole!!! Thanks for posting the pics Tom!

I have the greatest friends. Percher catches the Burbot and Slammer drops its off to me on his way home. Is that awsome or what!!! Had it for dinner last night and it was incredible. Slammer said he wants to try Burbot sushi style sometime. Maybe after a couple beers... Anyway, thanks again guys.
