I had a great time fishing with Nick Rusz on Thursday and Saturday evenings. We tried lots of spots, but found most of the fish relating to reefs in the upper bay. Thursday we could only keep three fish because most of them were too big, and Saturday Nick got a nice limit of fish to take back home to the Chicago area. The 28 incher he reeled in on Saturday was his biggest walleye to date. We got pelted with rain, ice pellets, and even saw quite a bit of lightning out there Saturday night, but we stuck it out and had a great time fishing. We didn't get the numbers we usually get at this time of year, but the quality sure was there. Here's a few pictures of the past couple trips with Nick. All fish were caught trolling crank-baits. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
