Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

We got ice!!! I don't know how thick it is, but I saw someone way out on the other side of Butler's Island this morning. Looked to be almost out in front of the coal piles, Maybe not quite that far, but close. Someone else was out quite a ways to the north of Butler's Island. Still lots of open water though from the narrows at Gladstone and south. Gates were open at both the Day's River access and the DNR access between there and Kipling. I'm hoping to get out one day next week. See ya on the ice!!!
