Just wondering how non traveled bay is for ATV now.. Got mine all chained up but with amount we got here little south it would be difficult. Have a chum goin up Friday so was wondering. Thanx for any info...
At this point I don't believe you would have any problems, especially if you have chains on the wheeler.
We don't have that much snow on the ice and only problems would probably be drifting around shacks.
I came off the lake yesterday during a white out blowout and drove over 2 1/2 miles of untraveled ice with no problem. Granted , part of that travel was driving around in circles cuz ya couldn't see $hit!!! I was in my truck. Travel is still good for wheelers and trucks IMO!!! Later,

Not sure how much you guys got since Monday, but over the weekend we went anywhere we wanted on quads without chains. We went south out of Gladstone Harbor over three miles on Sunday. The only hindrance was the heave coming out of the first yellow gate (not the Days River access). If you want to get on the other side of it, you have to follow the heave NE almost to the other side before you can start heading south toward the Vagabond.
Just got to work this morning and woke up to another 4-5 inches of blowing snow, and supposed to snow on and off all day. Might make a difference out there as it is drifting and blowing pretty good. Just saying!!!
