This isn't much of a fishing report but it ais as good as it got today. lol I tried a new spot and did manage to ice only one...yes one burbot. So I guess I didn't get skunked. Went to fish for whitefish and managed to ice one 22 incher and that was it. But I did hook into a 20inch smallmouth. For a winter smallie it sure did put up a decent fight. I went fishing for whitefish today but didn't do very well. I ended up with Nada one. None...Zip...Zilch. But I did do pretty good on the burbots. There was a couple more that I caught that aren't in the picture. I also had 3 or 4 more that I lost. No whitefish but I had fun fighting those burbots.
