We got into Gladstone on Thursday Feb 14 around 2pm and was fishing by 3. We fished from one end of the bay to the other. We had perch in the hole in most locations but the jumbos were not very hungry. With 114 man/hrs of fishing, we ended up cutting 9 perch total. We caught only one walleye and it was 8"....

One was HUGE...I didn't know what it was but it wasn't a lawyer of a whitefish that's for sure. From the first hit it was strong and heavy pulling out line nice...

Burbots......

I fished for some whitefish again today but again.....no whitefish. I did hook up with a few burbots though. It wasn't as much fun as hooking into whitefish but it ranks right up there. Them ugly ole flat tails sure do put up a fight. I even managed to land a smallmouth.
